The outdoors is where children spend most of their time running, jumping and exploring nature. One of the most important aspects of spending time outdoors is for children to grow in love with the natural environment. Bugs, butterflies, planting and interacting with the earth fosters a sense of responsiblity in young children encouraging them to take care of the natural world that surrounds them.
